I'm Just Ranting

Ok, I have to complain a bit about a silly pet pieve. Aside from the fact that the financial sector has sucked the life out of the entire planet, finance geeks are just annoying as hell. Would somebody please tell them that they don't need to refer to Steve Jobs' company as AAPL. It's Apple. Put away your stock ticker and use the extra letter. It's not too much to ask.

Bank of America is Bank Of America, or BofA, if you must. Not BAC.

And while I'm ranting, will people who work in hospitals stop wearing scrubs everywhere they go? I'm sure most, if not all of them, are employer-provided garments, and quite frankly, our health care bills are high enough without having to subsidize your personal wardrobe. Not to mention that I'm sure some of those things don't get washed before they get brought back to the hospital.
