More Bad Religion

Here's another tragic example of the evil that religion inspires:

The law in Brazil allows for abortion to be performed only in the case of rape. A little restrictive, if you ask me, but at least it's not completely illegal. In this particular case, not only was it rape, but it was also incest, and the victim is 9 years old! In the eyes of the Catholic church, an 9-year-old rape and incest victim should have to give birth to the (twin) offspring of her evil stepfather. I didn't even know that 9-year-olds could get pregnant. To force one to become a mother is just completely ridiculous.

What's almost as ridiculous is that the Catholic church has excommunicated the doctors who performed the procedure, but not the rapist! That's unbelievable.

But, the real kicker for me is this: the excommunicated doctor is stupid enough to keep going to church! That's religion for you. Brainwash people to the point where you can crap all over them, and still have them coming back for more.

What else can be said? Unbelievable.
